Reformer Pilates is a safe and effective form of low impact exercise which combines breathing with flowing body movements on a dynamic surface offering an elevated approach to traditional Pilates.
The Reformer machine is a specialised piece of equipment which features a moveable carriage, adjustable springs, straps and a foot bar, allowing a wide variety of Pilates exercises to be performed with added resistance, precision and control.
The aim of Reformer Pilates is to improve posture, balance, coordination, flexibility, breathing efficiency, mind and body awareness, with a focus on strengthening.
Intermediate Reformer Pilates enables you to progress from beginner level exercises.
The class size is limited to a maximum of 6 people which allows the instructor to tailor the exercises to suit your individual needs and goals.
This class is aimed at people who have already had some Reformer Pilates experience. The principles of Pilates will be explained and the exercises will be closely supervised to ensure the correct technique is being adopted.
This class will be taught by Bryony.
